Overview
This project proposes a system to capture and utilize greenhouse gases produced by cattle. It includes a specialized mask that collects cow-emitted gases such as methane from burps, stores them, and ultimately converts them into usable natural energy. Supported by a complementary mobile application and a business model, the solution aims to reduce environmental impact, empower farmers, and create a sustainable cycle of waste-to-energy conversion in the livestock industry.
Problem
- Cattle greenhouse gases fueling climate change
Cattle produce about 33% of global biogas and emit methane—28 times more potent than CO₂—ranking them as the third-highest source of global carbon emissions. This intensifies climate change, leading to droughts, extreme weather, heat, water shortages, fire risks, and pest invasions, making emission reduction a critical priority.

Problem Statement
How might I design a mask that can collect the greenhouse gases produced by cattle, and store them, and finally convert them into usable energy
Design Concept
My idea is to supply the local population by collecting farm waste gas and converting it into usable natural gas under the supervision of the environmental authorities.
